'JUST HANGING AROUND'
OVER BLACK:
Slow, solumn FEMALE voice:
FEMALE (O.S)
Two, of course there are two.
INT. CRAPPY STUDIO (CLOSE UP) - NIGHT
Two heads in front of a banged-up window. One FEMALE - doughy and downbeat, looking down. One MALE - a haggered artist staring with tired passion. There's a quiant Italian street outside.
FEMALE
It seems perfectly natural now.
MALE
Again. I like the way you say it.
Her mouth twitches into a near-smile.
FEMALE
It seems perfectly natural now.
MALE
Again.
She gazes at him warmly, takes a moment, then continues:
FEMALE
The one who never looks up, whose
eyes are lidded...
MALE
...And balled?
FEMALE
Like Blake's.
MALE
Who's the one that never looks up?
FEMALE
The one with no neck.
She chuckles at her own joke. That cute chuckle he loves. THUD as she closes an off-screen book.
